Breakfast Server - Weekends Job Opening in Fargo, North dakota - The Four Points by Sheraton ? Fargo is looking for a PT weekend server for our breakfast. This position will work primarily morning shifts (5:30am-11am). The server will be responsible for greeting, selling, order taking and serving guests in safe and efficient compliance with policies and procedures, brand standards, and federal, state and local regulations.
Essential duties and responsibilities for this position would include but are not limited to:
-Must be willing to work during the mornings, weekends, and some holidays
-Must be on time and at work when scheduled, and in proper uniform
-Project a professional image in all aspects of work performance
-Must be able to maintain composure during periods of high stress
-Process guest checks and collect payments in compliance with cash handling, credit card transactions, room charge processing and accounting policies and procedures
-Answer all questions about cooking methods, menu items, specials and prices
-Prompt submission of food orders with the kitchen in accordance with prescribed procedures
-Check food to ascertain appearance, temperature and portions are correct
-Timely deliver beverage and food orders to guest
-Remove dirty glasses, dishes and silverware from occupied tables
-Clear empty tables of linens, dishes and debris and place items in proper areas; reset tables
-Clean and restock service items
-Clean all spills and breakfast immediately
-Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
