Lane has experienced more than a 25% enrollment increase in the past two years. Lane serves a 4,600 square mile area from the Cascade Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. Lane's main campus is in Eugene, a city known for its quality of life and for being the home of the University of Oregon. Eugene (population 148,000) and neighboring Springfield (population 56,000) comprise the second largest population center in the state. Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Two (2) years full-time secondary or post-secondary teaching experience or equivalent. AND Two (2) years of academic administrative experience or academic/grant program coordination experience, or equivalent experience based on aggregate accomplishments in administrative work in an academic setting. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE * Two (2) years full-time mathematics teaching experience. * Two (2) years full-time teaching experience at a community college or similar post secondary institution. * Recent (within 5 years) teaching experience. * Two (2) years experience as an administrator supervising faculty and staff at a community college or similar post-secondary institution. * Two (2) years experience as an administrator supervising staff in an educational setting. Develop and maintain partnerships with private businesses, community organizations and the public sector; promote services, develop, monitor and encourage the negotiation of grants and contracts with potential community partners to generate revenue, enhance service, and accomplish educational goals to mutual benefit. ADMINISTRATION Make administrative decisions for programs in collaboration with faculty, staff and the Office of Academic and Student Affairs; maintain compliance with established College policies and external regulations. Collaborate in the design, collection and analysis of data required for the planning, development and day-to-day operation of the Division. Facilitate the preparation and development of budgets for the Division; administrating within available resources focusing on fiscal sustainability. Address and participate in resolving student concerns in accordance with Division and College policies and procedures.
