Glitterrings, Inc. currently is hiring for a Accounting Associate position. The ideal candidate would be well organized, has a high attention to detail, and able to juggle multiple on going projects. Previous experience in a similar accounting position is preferred.
The Accounting Associate will be responsible for supporting the Accounting Division in ensuring in ensuring the daily operation of the division including day-to-day bookkeeping.
Required Qualifications
College degree and two (2) years experience preferred
Ability to multitask, detail oriented, and strong organizational skills required
Knowledge / Experience in General Accounting preferred
Knowledge of GAAP preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Excellent communication skills and follow-through
Job Skills
Perform full cycle A/R, including invoicing and clients? payment processing
Perform full cycle A/P and assist team as necessary
Perform detailed accounts receivable reconciliations and analyses, prepare journal entries
Responsible for collection and follow-up on client payments
Assist in responding to all client inquiries
Review A/R aging reports to monitor delinquent accounts and advise Controller and Executive Team on best course of action moving forward
Record daily bank transactions
Perform vendor invoices processing and employee expense reports
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately
Reconcile company?s credit cards and post transactions to general ledger
Assist in external financials, tax, and tax returns
Receive and verify weekly sample shipments and add to inventory
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Perform external and internal audits
