Accounting Assistant Job Opening in Irvine, California - Summary: Responsible for performing clerical and accounting duties in an efficient and professional manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate and track invoices for customers.
Post accounts receivable and accounts payable data into QuickBooks to update the general ledger as needed.
Collect incoming bills and organize for payments & matching to corresponding purchase order.
Reconcile bank statements on a monthly basis, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Track daily sales orders and generate daily sales tracking report.
Perform clerical duties such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, and collating.
Create monthly sales reports to track trends on a year to year basis.
Handle other duties as assigned
Preferred skills and experience:
Must have experience with QuickBooks
1 -2 years of experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
Very high attention to detail
Excellent organizational skills
