We are actively looking for an Accountant to join our Finance and Accounting team at our corporate headquarters in Central New Jersey. The ideal candidate will support the Controller in providing accurate and timely information to support business decisions. This position will also assist in monitoring that the company is in compliance with all of the regulatory requirements by which it operates.
The main functions of this job are:
Accounting responsibilities
Reporting and analysis
Audit and examinations
Bank reconciliations
Special projects as needed
To perform the job successfully, the candidate must have a through knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), strong analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software. The candidate must be able to multitask and excel in a deadline driven environment. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with our organization and advance their career.
A Bachelors Degree in Accounting is required along with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting roles. Must have experience in monthly, quarterly and yearend closing, budget projections, account analysis and fixed assets. The candidate must be able to hit the ground running.
