Job Description:
Software engineer will be responsible to develop, maintain and support software tools and websites for the Air Force, Army, and Navy.
Tools include, but are not limited to, the F-16 Organic Change Management (OCM) system, Automated Weight and Balance System (AWBS) download website, and client-side Weight and Balance software.
OCM is a web system used to automate processes and provide configuration management support for the F-16. AWBS is a common tool throughout the Department of Defense. It tracks aircraft weight and center-of-gravity in order to provide information and generate flight clearance forms. Process automation is exciting and challenging because of the ability to streamline processes and the opportunity to leverage the latest technologies to simplify each task. As technologies develop, they are evaluated and employed by the software team to keep our tools on the leading edge of technology. Involvement in all phases of software development is required, i.e., development of software requirements and design documents, project plans, software coding, software testing, and training customers on the use of the product.
Required Experience:
US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED, NO C2C
In-depth knowledge and experience in web development, specifically using with C#, ASP, JavaScript, Html and CSS is required.
Skilled with Microsoft Visual Studio and C# development.
Strong organization, written, oral, and presentation skills required.
Desired Experience:
Proficient in using Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server.
