Development Lead Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - The Software Development Team Lead will be part of an agile development team, building and working on enterprise grade software systems. The Software development Team Lead will provide technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.
Principal Duties: 1. Analyze requirements and impacts across systems 2. Design scalable solutions and develop software solutions using multiple technologies 3. Working with Enterprise architect (EA) for coding standards and EA vision 4. Mentoring developers on use of technology 5. Researching new technology and assess fitment to meet business needs 6. Ability to oversee and lead development teams 7. Perform work breakdown analysis 8. Provide development specifications to developers 9. Perform code reviews 10. Identify functional and non-functional requirements 11. Develop detail deployment/release plans 12. Coordinate with QA teams to develop test plans 13. Ensure the development team is adhering to development standards while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. 14. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits 15. Enhance and optimize design/development processes
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Minimum total 7+ years experience in software development 2. 5+ years SQL scripting 3. 5+ years in 1.1 to 3.5 4. 2+ years in MVC 5. Experience in WPF, MVVM, WCF, Classic ASP 6. Experience in writing technical design documentation 7. UML 8. SDLC experience (Agile/Waterfall) 9. Experience with user interface design and prototyping 10. Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization 11. Experience with multi-threading and concurrency 12. Experience with source control management systems and continuous environments 13. Database concepts and data architecture
Preferred Qualifications: 1. SQL server database 2. Service oriented architecture
