Medical Front Desk/Scheduler Job Opening in Woburn, Massachusetts - Medical Front Desk/Scheduling Position-Full-Time (40 hours) for experienced person. (Woburn, MA)
Under the direction of the Front Desk Supervisor, this position is responsible for optimizing patient flow through accurate, timely scheduling, check in/check out of patients, co-pay, co-insurance and deductible collections, demographic and insurance entry.
Job Duties Include:
Answering phones and triaging calls to appropriate people/extensions.
Checking patients in and out, collecting patient balances.
Scheduling new patients, follow-ups and procedures.
Have a working knowledge of healthcare insurances as related to referrals and authorizations.
Must possess a calm demeanor and an ability to adapt to change.
This position requires:
Dependability; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; be a team player; able to take direction; must have at least 3 years of experience working at a Medical Front Desk. Must be available between the hours of 7am ? 6pm depending on the scheduling needs of the practice.
Experience in a Pain Management practice is a plus.
Billing Systems: G.E. Centricity and/or AthenaHealth is desired.
Salary commensurate with experience
