Office Manager - Optometry - Great Compensation Job Opening in Cambridge, Massachusetts - We are expanding into new locations and are looking to add to our team a strong office manager to supervise the office administration duties and be the patient ambassador in the office. The successful candidate must be ambitious and outgoing, enjoy interactions with patients and is looking for her/his next career challenge with great growth potential. We are a multi-location optometry practice and vision center that is privately operated with a single goal to provide the best eye care experience to patients by empowering our staff. You will be joining a great team of talented professionals.

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN OFFICE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION, PREFERABLY IN OPTOMETRY, OPHTHALMIC, OPTICAL, DENTISTRY / DENTAL TO BE LAST JOB (FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS AT A MINIMUM) MUST BE IN THESE FIELD.

DUTIES:
Administrative:
Assisting in Booking appointments and checking-in/out patients
Be in charge of the office and patients flow
Authorizing the patients? insurance benefits and determining the proper copay for the patients
Managing the office flow of patients, operations, and administration
Supervising and training others
Medical Billing:
Billing the insurance electronically through our system and ensuring claims are properly processed
Getting claims rejections cleared ASAP
Determining when referrals are needed and following up with the proper institutions to obtain them
Reconciling all insurance payments received to the billed amounts
Ordering contact lenses
Following up with patients timely when their contacts arrive
Performing pre-tests on patients as needed
Ensure the office is organized and clean
