Inside Sales Metal Distribution Job Opening in Portland, Oregon - The inside sales representative position is a key component of our customer interaction and service, requiring candidates who can: quote accurately & promptly, enter all orders accurately & promptly (ensuring the accuracy of details Specs, tolerances, packaging etc.), actively seek new business from current customers & new ones, monitor the status of their customer orders to ensure on time delivery and good communication internally & externally thru the process, maintain & establish good working relationships with assigned and house accounts, be a good advocate for the customer within our entire organization (credit, warehouse etc.), ensure that quoted prices will correctly deliver the required GP after all expenses and help launch new products into the market.
MINIMUM of 1 year recent experience in inside sales in Metal distribution (prefer Stainless or Aluminum experience). Completion of post-secondary education preferred, experience will be considered also. The best candidates will be effective, professional communicators & possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well independently & as part of a team.
