Peterson has an immediate need for an experienced Sales Consultant at our new Hillsboro location . The person in the position's primary purpose is to increase Peterson Cat's revenue and market share by renting and selling equipment. This is accomplished by making sales calls on the current customer base and prospecting for new customers in their respective sales territory.
Responsibilities:
Achieve business plan results for the defined territory.
10 to 15 sales calls per day including office and jobsite visits.
Review rental agreements and invoices for billing and commission accuracy.
Harvest lead information weekly from the following sources: Sales Link, Construction Points, Contractor Plan Center, ODOT's contracting website.
Fulfill requests from management for information & assistance including collection activities.
Insure that all valid customers in your territory are assigned in Sales Link (CRM) and record pertinent activities.
Keep all customer profiles up to date including customer influencers.
Follow up on all leads and opportunities in a timely manner.
Perform ?on call? duties on a rotational basis per posted schedule.
Qualifications:
Associate?s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; and two (2) to three (3) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
