Senior Accountant Job Opening in Aurora, Illinois - Senior Accountant Position
Lower middle-market manufacturer in Aurora requires an experienced professional to fill the Senior Accountant position. This position reports to and will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer. The ability to work at a fast pace, multi-task and meet deadlines is critical. Responsibilities are as follows;
Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements.
Bank reconciliations and daily maintenance of cash balances.
Prepares monthly borrowing base certificate.
Primary interface with auditors; financial, 401-K and workers comp.
Maintains fixed asset and tooling jobs.
Assists Chief Financial Officer with annual budget, cash flow, tax notices and costing.
Inventory; price testing, cycle counts, analysis and annual count.
Supports Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll as needed.
Sales and use tax returns.
Other responsibilities as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in business, preferably Accounting or Finance.
At least 5 years relevant experience.
ERP experience
Very good Microsoft skills.
Analytical skills
