Accounts Payable Analyst Job Opening in Vernon Hills, Illinois - Job Description
Validate invoicing against system records and vendor invoicing.
Process journal entries to the general ledger.
Maintain Excel spreadsheet of all accrual entries.
When timing allows, process cloud invoices in systems and spreadsheets.
Must Haves
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years of experience in Accounts Payable
Working knowledge in electronic accounts payable processing environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively relay information to all stakeholders including senior leadership.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrated analytical skills, with strong attention to details and the ability to explain discrepancies and make correction recommendations.
Ability to work independently with little direction.
Experience with PeopleSoft accounting systems
