SMI USA is currently seeking a full-time accountant to join the dynamic real estate development team in New York.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Task with overall project accounting and bookkeeping including all construction related payments and receipts
-Utilize established accounting principles to perform required chores under limited supervision and provide assistance to the management team
-Review and approve invoice coding and approvals to ensure proper audit trail is in place
-Prepare and distribute financial reports and bank reconciliations
-Research and respond to ad-hoc internal and external financial questions
-Coordinate year-end audits and respond to inquiries
-Manage day to day office administration including payroll, corporate benefits, business expenses, office supplies
-Assist tax and filing issues with designated accountant
REQUIREMENTS
-Master of Accountancy
-Excellent English writing and communication skills; Mandarin preferred
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in related field
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
