Performance Analyst Job Opening in Jacksonville, Oregon - ACA Performance Services provides GIPSŪ verification and consulting services to investment managers around the globe. Our team?comprised of more than 30 professionals with extensive GIPS and performance standards experience?is the largest group of GIPS professionals in the world solely dedicated to GIPS verification and related services. To date, we have served more than 300 firms. Many of our clients previously used a different verification firm and/or a Big Four accounting firm.
Position Objective:
The individual in this position is responsible for assisting with the completion of periodic verifications of a client?s capacity to claim compliance with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPSŪ.) The individual in this position will also support ACA?s performance consulting services
Summary of Responsibilities:
Provide investment performance measurement consulting, advisory and/or educational services to clients
Recalculate performance statistics in accordance with the GIPS standards and confirm that data is accurately recorded and disclosed in materials
Perform detailed analysis and reporting of composite membership, firm assets under management, and composite and portfolio accounting data
Complete ongoing verification and consulting projects, draft reports and correspondence that support verification and providing detailed analysis and advice to clients
Manage assigned client relationships while utilizing internal resources to ensure that expectations are met while documenting all procedures and unique challenges that occurred during the verification or engagement
Stay abreast of changes and updates to the GIPS standards and participate in continuing education (CIPM, CFA Institute meetings, webcasts, current events, etc.)
Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support ACA on various client and internal initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree required ? major or concentration in business, accounting, finance, or economics required
At least 1 year of related experience or a combination of the following: (i) obtaining, reading and understanding policies and procedures for establishing and maintaining GIPS compliance or (ii) issuing a GIPS report or statement indicating why a verification or performance examination report could not be issued or (iii) providing GIPS and/or performance consulting services that assist with the maintenance of compliance and interpreting emerging standards
Knowledge of the requirements and recommendations of the CFA Institute?s GIPS standards and regulations including: interpretations, statements, and clarifications
