OCH Health System in Gravette, Arkansas has an immediate opening for a full-time Referral Coordinator within our Gravette Clinic.

Job Summary: Under the direction of the clinic administrator or manager receives patient referrals from providers or nursing personnel, ascertains their needs and makes appropriate referral. Documents the referral appropriately in referral log and communicates with provider that referral has been made. Has the ability to perform duties consistent with Standards of Practice, goals and philosophy of Ozarks Community Hospital of Springfield and the Employee Code of Conduct. Makes patient appointments and enters them into the computer system. Obtains patient demographic information and insurance information from patients. Notifies patient of appointment time, date, location, type of appointment and who with. Is a resource person for patients and staff for available community resources/agencies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year?s medical office experience preferred.
Previous experience with health insurance and patient billing preferred.
MA/LPN
Completion of medical terminology course or equivalent experience preferred.
