Customer Service & Inside Sales Job Opening in Hopedale, Massachusetts - Milford Ceramic Tile is a full service retail flooring store that sells Ceramic Tile, Hardwood and Carpeting. Established in 1984, Milford Ceramic Tile has been serving central Massachusetts for over 30 years. We are seeking a motivated sales person to call and meet with potential customers (installers, builders, contractors, homeowners) customers to sell flooring materials, setting materials, underlayments and tile tools. Milford Ceramic Tile is a supply company, we do not handle installation of any flooring material.
POSITION SUMMARY The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) promotes and sells company products, services and flooring solutions while providing exceptional customer service at all times. The ISR is responsible for contacting installers, builders and contractors to promote our floor and wall tile, setting materials and tile tools. In addition to handling showroom sales.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify and Contact potential customers (installers, builders, and contractors) who would purchase tile, setting materials, or tile tools.
Make recommendations to customers on the options available based on budget, design preferences, and application.
Assist the customer (or their customers) in selecting tile and setting materials
Capable of calculating flooring area and accessories needed to complete a job, complete materials estimate, and close the sale.
Engage in active negotiations with customers.
Take payments from customers for products sold.
Merchandise all products in store according to company specifications..
Ensure customer satisfaction.
Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
High school diploma
Knowledge of flooring materials, setting materials and tile tools a plus
Proficient use of windows applications
Basic math skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently with no supervision
Strong flexibility for work schedule during the week, as no two days may be the same
Ability to provide excellent customer service with a professional and courteous demeanor
