We encourage social communication among residents through group activities and recreation
Encourage parties, provide games and encourage residents to assist in the planning; e.g, making table decorations, wrapping gifts, planning party room, etc.
Encourage trips outside the facility; e.g., shopping, scenic, etc.
Encourage residents to participate in religious activities to fulfill their basic spiritual needs, through visits with chaplain, attendance at religious services whenever possible, spiritual reading material and others.
Encourage development through appropriate recreation.
Visit for one-on-one personal contact.
When assigned to a neighborhood offering the Tapestry Program:
Participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team as set forth in the Tapestry Program Mission Statement.
Facilitate Tapestry Program daily schedule of events as assigned, while maintaining the mission of the program.
