NDCT is currently seeking an Accountant. Under general direction of the Assistant Controller the Accountant prepares monthly journal entries and account reconciliations. The Accountant is responsible for the purchase to pay accounting processes, personally processing all commissions and payroll related transactions.
Desired Skills
Minimum 2-3 years accounting experience, including payroll related responsibilities
Experience in a manufacturing environment using an ERP system preferably Oracle
Organized, detail oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
Focused and able to prioritize and deliver planned results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to define a problem, collect data, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion
Computer literate in Microsoft Word, strong Excel skills
Functions of the Job
Primary responsibility for preparation and payment of all sales and agent commissions
Provide system support for Accounts Payable system including the AP close process and received not invoiced accrual
Daily posting of Cash receipts into Accounts Receivable system
Process and record bi-weekly payroll for all US payroll entries- ADP payroll experience preferred
Perform account reconciliations and other monthly general journal entries for monthly, quarterly and year-end close
Responsible for third party audits for Worker?s Compensation and 401K Plan
Responsible for effectively researching, tracking, and resolving accounting problems and discrepancies making corrections as necessary
Maintain work instructions and procedures for all tasks
Provide and participate in cross-training as appropriate
Complete various tasks as assigned by the Assistant Controller or Global Controller
All other duties as assigned
