Financial Analyst Job Opening in Skokie, Illinois - North Shore Multi Family Real Estate Investment Company has opportunity for a Financial Analyst.
Responsibilities
Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) taking into account company?s goals and financial standing
Prepare, review and distribute financial report packages for internal and external stakeholders
Synthesize financial data and trends to identify risks and opportunities
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations based on sound analysis to reduce costs and drive performance
Assemble data to build sophisticated, concise reports on financial health and profitability
Develop financial models; conduct benchmarking and process analysis across multiple business segments
Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance to enhance operational tactics and forecast models
Evaluate and track financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
Develop expertise in back office functions and software to ensure data integrity; reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
Support senior management on planning and ad hoc projects
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics required
MBA or CFA designation preferred
Minimum of 4 years? relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
Strong initiative, follow through and ability to manage multiple projects
Must be detail oriented with attentiveness to accuracy and deadlines
Excellent analytical skills and integrity
Ability to work well with others in an entrepreneurial, dynamic environment
