Full Charge Bookkeeper Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper with solid experience (min. 3 - 5 years+) for immediate opportunities.
Job Description
The ideal candidates will be self-motivated, strong attention to detail, great with numbers, and the ability to take initiative and multi-task under tight deadlines. Your primary focus will be the day-to-day office and financial operations of the company.
Duties & Responsibilities
Primary person for day-to-day bookkeeping functions
Heavy QuickBooks, including for management of cash flow, GL, P&L, etc.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Strong ability to reconcile accounts, expenses and run reports
General office management and administrative tasks to ensure the office and company is running smoothly and efficiently
Carry out any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role
Job Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar bookkeeper position
BA/BS degree, ideally with focus on finance, bookkeeping or accounting
Extensive working knowledge of QuickBooks is a must
Solid experience with high volume of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Finance and/or accounting acumen with a good grasp of accounting principles
Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple tasks in highly active and dynamic environment
Knowledge and experience with office, financial, accounting and bookkeeping systems and equipment
Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills
Ability to plan and manage own workload and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

Good command of Excel, QuickBooks, accounting software and web-based applications
