Construction Project Coordinator Job Opening in Louisville, Kentucky - Buffalo Construction, Inc. is an established commercial General Contractor headquartered in Louisville, KY with projects located nationwide. We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager and Superintendents on multiple projects for various client partners.
Overview of Position
Work closely with project manager(s), superintendents, vendor partners to manage multiple projects and schedules.
Site Mobilization: Understand site needs/requirements and budget restraints.
Handle inquiries from vendor partners with excellent communication promoting cooperative and professional skills.
Understand client partner requirements with regard to revision management, close out documentation, change order administration and progress reporting.
Prepare Contracts, Purchase Orders, Change Orders and track status of each for prompt return and thorough execution.
Coordinate the approval of product/material submittals for the projects.
Coordinate and/or obtain all close out documents such as warranty letters and product information and prepare close-out documentation for clients.
Audit and process vendor invoices. Address billing discrepancies jointly with accounting specialist and project manager.
Participate in monthly job cost meetings.
Prepare and/or facilitate requests for information (RFI?s).
Coordinate submittal management.
Provide administrative support for warranty calls.

Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize daily tasks in order to meet deadlines, ensure efficient workflow, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task effectively.
Must be able to work effectively and productively both independently and with a wide variety of people in an environment of rapidly changing deadlines and priorities.
Professional demeanor along with strong verbal and written communication skills
Display a detail-oriented approach to daily activities and a self-starter attitude.
Possess a general understanding of basic accounting principles.
General comprehension of construction plans and specifications.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel and Word is required.
Experience with Timberline/Sage preferable.
Previous experience in construction industry a must.
