Regional Vice President Job Opening in Chattanooga, Tennessee - The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, experience with social media, extensive experience developing and managing programs for individuals with developmental disabilities in a home/community based setting, knowledge of care management organizations and be willing to travel.

The Regional Vice President ensures that all contract compliance, matters of accreditation and quality assurances are met, as required by local government ordinances, federal standards and state practices. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the management of Executive Directors in various locations, as well as all programs and new program development associated within the designated region. The Regional Vice President also ensures fiscal responsibility, oversees local fundraising efforts, compliance with internal policies, and facilitates positive public relations. The Regional Vice President will oversee all area programs to ensure person centered design, inclusive programs, and self-determination for individuals with disabilities.
What You Will Be Doing:
Responsible for a $15M budget, 400 employees, overall operations of the state and compliance with state licensing and reporting standards.
Interfaces with local, state and governmental agencies, negotiating programs with various state legislative and regulatory agencies.
Locates and recommends appropriate grant and funding opportunities to the national office.
Coordinates and oversees fundraising activities that will effectively promote the needs of the national organization, and increase their funding base.
Makes recommendations for the development of current and future programs.
Frequent travel within region.
What Experience/Skills You Have:
Bachelor?s degree required. Master?s degree in related field preferred.
8 years related experience in Support Services, Home Community Based Service or related field
5 years experience in a management or senior management role.
Excellent communication skills, management ability, budget experience and be willing to roll up their sleeves.
Working knowledge of Tennessee and/or Kentucky regulations as they pertain to individuals with disabilities
Proficiency in the allocation of staff metrics and development, knowledge of state and federal funding, marketing, fund raising and program development.
