Accounting Assistant / Receptionist Job Opening in Alexandria, Louisiana - We are looking for someone who is professional, courteous, organized, looks for ways to help other staff members, and above all focused.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member in a professional and courteous manner
Greet public and direct them to the correct staff member
Oversee the Accounts Payables
Assist Bookkeeping Department as needed
Fax, scan and copy documents
Maintain office filing and storage systems
Data Entry in Word and Excel
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years previous office experience
Excellent computer skills in MS Excel and MS Word
Accounting knowledge needed in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Key Competencies
Organization and planning skills are very important
Self-motivated, reliable and a team player are a must
Pleasant personality with public relations experience
Attentive to detail

This is a full-time position, health and dental insurance covered for the employee after one year of employment along with paid time off.
