Position: Accountant
Company: Industrial Service Solutions, Serco
Reports to: President, Serco; Controller, ISS
Summary: Overall responsibility for Accounting
Job Functions: * Preparation of all month-end & year-end financial and performance reports. * Process accounts payable * Process invoices and lead the accounts receivable collection effort. * Calculate, collect and remit all sales & use taxes. * Perform ad hoc analyses as required; support management with in-depth analysis at their request.
Background Requirements: * At least three years of related experience, preferably experience in industrial manufacturing or services. * Fluent in Intuit QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Word * BA/BS degree in either Accounting or Finance preferred. * High standards of accuracy and precision. * Excellent written and oral communication skills.
The successful candidate will be a high-integrity individual with results-driven attitude committed to achieving company objectives. This person must be able to think strategically about building the business while also possessing an extremely hands-on approach to his/her day-to-day responsibilities. Excellent interpersonal skills as well as the ability to effectively and persuasively present information will be critical.
