The position is located is located in North Eastern Louisiana.
Excellent and rare opportunity for a collaborative and experienced Plant Controller to improve the financial performance of a plant and ensure reported plant results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
If you can:
Manage plant financial reporting and P&L responsibilities for the plant
Work closely with plant and corporate leadership to identify and measure ways for improving the profitability of the business
Drive improved financial performance by identifying and executing opportunities to increase sales and reduce costs
Ensure the plant is Sarbanes Oxley compliant
Manage annual budget process
Capital planning for plant maintenance and cost reduction projects
Understand and implement best practices
Complete monthly financial reporting requirements
Provide accurate monthly financial forecasts
If you have:
5+ years of plant controller experience
Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
Understanding of manufacturing costing, inventory, and data processing
Prior experience with ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards) and MS Office
Strong understanding of manufacturing operations desired
Understanding of Sarbanes Oxley as related to manufacturing accounting
Capability to build/maintain excellent rapport and teach
The ability to travel as needed
