Mobile Software Engineer-Xamarin Job Opening in Atlanta, Georgia - We?re looking for a talented Mobile Software Engineer to join our Atlanta-based Telguard product development team and help to create the next generation of wireless security solutions. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining the architecture, implementation and development environment for the Telguard Message Center. Deep knowledge of mobile UI design, Xamarin Forms, Xamarin for Visual Studio, C# and RESTful services will be critical to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the business team to prioritize a list of enhancements and new features for our Telguard Tools iOS/Android application.
Work with the UI designer to implement the new UI design with best practices for mobile devices.
Build advanced systems using C#, RESTful and SOAP services.
Maintain and enhance all Telguard mobile apps for iOS and Android.
Work with Product Verification Testing daily and review test plans to ensure complete functional coverage and provide technical assistance.
Work with other functional groups within the company, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure flawless market launches.
Technical Skills
Solid experience on C#, Xamarin - Xamarin including and , JavaScript, Mobile Development, NET MVC, SQL, APIs - C#, Xamarin, JavaScript, Mobile Development, MVC, SQL, APIs
Solid experience with Javascript libraries
Strong experience developing UIs that render perfectly on multiple devices.
UI knowledge - experience building graphically intensive UIs, managing multiple view hierarchies, optimizing UI transitions and performance on mobile devices.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
iOS and Android application development experience. This person will need to have used the Xamarin framework and toolset (Xamarin for Visual Studio).
Familiarity with all aspects of Google Play Store & Apple App Store.
Mobile store life cycle knowledge including store policies, publishing, provisioning, app store and deployments.
Strong knowledge of Caching, Session State, Cookie Management, View State
Qualifications
Strong experience in SQL 2008/2014
1-2 years of experience with Xamarin forms a MUST!
Experience with TFS source management systems is highly desirable.
Experience in the machine-to-machine (M2M) industry is beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
