Job Description:
This position is for a Development Manager/Lead Tech Dev person to work within large enterprise environments which uses AngularJS, HTML5, CSS/Less, Java, and Oracle technologies. In this role, this individual will be accountable for leading the development team on the delivery of the final architectural solution based on the business requirements. They will be required to interface with business customers, as well as the various IT application teams that include executive management, business analyst, project managers, development, and infrastructure, on a daily basis. He or she must be a leader that is delivery focused and can communicate objectives and approaches with business and technical team members. When presented with problems, this person must develop and be able to present multiple to solve the problem. MUST HAVE hands on experience in web development technologies including heaving web responsive design. They are expected to develop new solutions and approaches and to encourage others to do the same. Status-quo should not be part of their vocabulary.
Key Job Responsibilities
Interact with Business and IT team members to move the project forward on a daily basis.
Managing development teams
Developing architectural solutions utilizing Web Technologies including but not limited to Twitter Bootstrap, Web Design, AngularJS, Java, JQuery, Javascript, Kendo UI.
Developing architectural solutions utilizing Oracle Technologies including but not limited to PL/SQL, Packages, Functions, Views, Performance Engineering
Help lead the development of the data model of the applications.
Identify approaches and technologies to ensure performance
Ensuring the solution has conformity
Work with BA, DA, and EA to identify data sources
Work with BA team in the development of detail System Requirements
Work with Business/BA?s, and IT to identify performance issues, and fix those issues
Develop prototypes for helping business understand concepts and direction
Work with project management to provide estimates of project costs and timelines
Understand business change requests and how to manage business expectations.
Position Requirements
Five or more years of solution architectural experience
Five or more years of hands-on application development experience in Responsive Web Design, Javascript, HTML5/CSS, JQuery
Five or more years of application development experience in Oracle Technologies
Two or more years managing technical teams
One to two years of Java middleware development.
One to two years experience with AngularJS
Five or more years of application development experience in at least two programming languages
Five or more years working as or with Business System Analyst
Five or more years of client-server experience
Two or more years of enterprise architectural experience
Team player that can work independently
Secondary Requirements
Technical and Functional Understanding of Oracle Technologies
Technical and Functional Understanding of Web Technologies
Technical understanding of various Oracle DBA Task
Functional understanding of middleware server technologies, such as Weblogic or Tomcat
Functional understanding of SOA technologies
