Accounting Manager Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - We are a privately owned, real estate development company with offices in California, Nevada and Arizona. Our portfolio consists of over 10M square feet of space, and we own land for the future development of another 5,000,000 square feet. This opportunity is based out of our West Los Angeles headquarters and will report to the Assistant Controller.
The Accounting Manager will work closely with the Assistant Controller to supervise and manage all aspects of accounting functions. Ideal candidate will have performed full cycle accounting for a Commercial Real Estate firm.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Preferred returns and investor distributions
Review YE CAM reconciliations
YE schedules for tax preparations
Cash flow analysis
Cost accounting for construction and TI?s
Reconcile inter-company accounts
Process accounting entries of acquisitions, dispositions and loan financing
Review Lease analysis and financial reports
Monthly analysis and maintenance of general ledger accounts
Assist the Assistant Controller in supervising the accounting staff
Required skills and qualifications:
BA in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
4+ years of real estate accounting experience
CPA a plus
Flexible work schedule to meet company deadlines
Experience with tax projections and lender reporting is a plus
