Responsibilities:
Tufail and Associates is seeking a board-certified, experienced Hospitalist to join our team of Hospitalists at the Valley Health Systems - Valley Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV. Ideal qualifications include the following:
Two or more years of experience in the management of complex hospitalized patient as well as experience with common bedside procedures.
Strong interest in a career in academic hospital medicine with proficiency in education and teaching of medical learners (medical students, residents, and physician extenders).
Strong dedication to quality of care and improvement on baseline metrics within the facility.
Experienced in multi-payer systems, but specific focus on HMO patients.
Licensure or Certification:
Candidates must be board-certified internal medicine and have a valid State of NV license to practice medicine. Experienced Hospitalists are given priority.
