Bank Reconciliation Specialist
Job Responsibilities
The Bank Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for all corporate bank reconciliations, preparing journal entries, reviewing daily reports for accuracy, working on various projects and analyses, and other accounting duties, as needed.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Reconcile all corporate bank statements on a weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly basis as needed.
Prepare journal entries related to the bank reconciliations and other entries as needed.
Review select daily reports for accuracy including ACH reports, loan adjustment reports, branch status reports, etc.
Assist with various projects and prepare analyses for the AVP - Controller and CFO as requested.
Assist with proofing financial statements and other data monthly.
Cross-train and provide backup support for other duties within the Accounting Department.
Compliance with applicable statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, BSA.

Job Requirements
The successful Bank Reconciliation Specialist must have a degree in Accounting plus a minimum of 1 year relevant work experience.
Additional requirements include, but are not limited to:
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite products
Must possess a basic understanding of accounting
Organizational skills
Team player and willing to assist others as needed
Computer savvy
Ability to research problems
