We produce communications for a diverse client group, but they all typically focus on deeply understanding consumers to solve business challenges.
We?re looking for a visual communicator with a creative mind, technical skill and enthusiasm. As a Communication Designer, you would leverage your talents to communicate compelling and inspiring business stories through presentations, infographics and other formats. The role provides the opportunity to visually communicate on a variety of subject matter (e.g., family, healthcare, shopping) to influence business decisions at some of the world?s most respected companies. Responsibilities range from tactical (e.g., designing presentation slides) to strategic (e.g., pitching creative approaches to a communication challenge).

Is empathetic: You can share the feelings of story subjects (i.e., consumers of a variety of products and services) and business audiences (e.g., marketers, product designers, leaders).
Possesses business acumen: You have or can develop understanding of clients? business challenges and translate their needs into relevant and impactful communications.

Responsibilities of the role include ...
Lead communication design for key accounts.
Provide consultation to account teams on potential and recommended approaches to communication challenges for client projects (e.g., optimal format, style, etc.).
Ensure that design standards are established, understood and upheld on all client-facing communications (e.g., create and educate account team on use of style guide).
Produce or support the production of a variety of communications, roughly distributed as follows:
(60%) Produce , creative copy, custom frameworks and infographics; translating raw input into physical/digital communications.
(20%) Coach and support those in non-creative roles in their creation of basic reports and presentations (e.g., provide tips, copy ideas, design assets).
(10%) Support production of videos by developing style guides and providing design assets to in-house video editor (ability to write copy for scripts a plus).
(5%) Support development of microsites by creating layout concepts and providing design assets to in-house web developer.
(5%) Support development of exhibits by consulting on overall layout and being involved in production of components (e.g., graphic panels, videos).
Promote a communication design mindset throughout the organization by participating in internal development initiatives (e.g., facilitating training, sharing examples of your work).
Support the evolution of the Arti-fact team, particularly as it relates to continued innovation (e.g., explore new software, processes, creative techniques, inspiration sources).
