Job Summary
A hospital client in Muskegon, MI is looking for two (2) Sterile Technicians. Both are full-time, contract positions. Hours are 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The Sterile Technician will provide sterile instruments and supplies to all members of the healthcare team, achieves proper sterilization of packs and instruments, removes sterile instruments from flash autoclave and steris machine using proper sterile technique; and, properly sterilize and aerate heat sensitive instruments. Skills may include Surgical (Ortho, Neuro,CV, etc.), Family Practice, Cardiology, Geriatrics, and others. The successful candidate must have the ability to read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges. The ability to exercise tact and discretion, some knowledge of hospital policies and procedures is desirable.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sterile Technician is required.
Must be available to work from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Preferred Qualification s
Some knowledge of hospital policies and procedures is desirable.
