Veterinary Technician - Experienced Job Opening in jacksonville, Florida - Veterinary Technician - Experienced San Juan Animal Hospital is currently taking applications for experienced veterinary technicians. We are seeking self-motivated individuals with excellent customer service skills who are passionate about their job. Job responsibilities include exam room assistance, triage, taking vitals, knowledge of preventative healthcare (flea and heartworm prevention), vaccine protocols, phlebotomy (blood draws and IV catheter placement), radiology, intensive care, laboratory procedures (in-house bloodwork, ear and urine cytology, intestinal parasite microscopy), emergency and critical care situations, surgery and anesthesia monitoring and most of all, patient care. You must be able to lift at least 40-50# and stand for extended periods of time. Weekends and holiday work required. If you possess these skills, then we are looking for you!
