Associate Director of Development, WVU Medicine-Children's Job Opening in Morgantown, West virginia - WVU Medicine Children?s, Morgantown, WV is searching for an Associate Director of Development to support philanthropic initiatives related to the care of the women and children of West Virginia and surrounding regions, advance research, and promote the education of future healthcare providers. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Director of Development and be responsible for cultivation and solicitation strategies of a prospect portfolio comprised of individuals, corporations and foundations interested in supporting these initiatives.
Candidates must have a bachelor?s degree and 4 or more years of fund raising experience with a proven track record in major gift fund raising. Experience in a university health sciences center and capital campaign experience are highly desirable. Strong written, verbal, organization, and interpersonal skills are required. Successful candidates will be self-motivated and possess the ability to work as a team member within a complex organization requiring collaboration, teamwork and communication.
