Senior Software Developer/Solution Architect Job Opening in Livonia, Michigan - Great Lakes Consulting Services is actively seeking a Senior Software Developer/Solution Architect.
Responsibilities:
The position is highly technical and responsibilities include designing and implementing complete solutions from high level business requirements.
Qualifications:
Act as a Solution Architect and design, develop and perform enhancements for complex server based applications.
Software developer with experience in multiple languages: Julia, Python, Java, Go .
Strong design and development skills for complex sever based application - financial / data science in-memory number crunching application.
Design, develop and implement server based calculation engine using Julia and other languages as needed.
Implement Test Driven Development strategy to ensure maintainable code based.
Design, develop and implement data acquisition validation and transformation logic - to allow for new data inputs into platforms.
Implement statistical, non-linear optimization, regression and simulation techniques in Julia as needed by application solutions.
Must be able to develop from ground up.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Information Technology is strongly preferred or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum five (5) years in information technology working as BI Developer in a large data warehouse and business intelligence environment.
Must be able to interface with users to develop the User Requirements.
Must be able to design, develop, test and deliver complete solution.
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and produce results.
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
Must be results oriented, solely responsible for delivery of user friendly and effective software.
Must have excellent organization, analytical, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work in teams and in a self-directed work environment.
Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
