Service Team Coordinator Job Opening in Columbia, South carolina - Our Service Team Coordinators are the primary contact for the company for existing patients with maintenance, service, and other equipment needs.
On a daily basis, Service Team Coordinators:
Handle heavy phone traffic and ensure all telephone calls are answered in a timely and courteous manner
Respond to customer inquiries related to company products and services requested, and troubleshoot service issues as appropriate
Schedule and close all service requests received from branch offices while ensuring that all paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
Confirm all respiratory verbal and written orders from physicians, discharge planners, and other health care professionals, as needed.
Schedule all Field Service employees utilizing available software systems to maximize productivity, efficiency and decrease costs, as well as prioritize and allocate incoming tasks.
Coordinate with Director of Patient Services, Service Team Manager, and Clinical Case Managers to ensure all tasks are completed.
Review and resolve any pended transactions and reschedules as appropriate to ensure compliance
Ensure that patient and transactional information is accurately reflected in the company?s computer system.
Work assigned reports to ensure all documentation and follow up for compliance and billing are performed in a timely manner.
Coordinate with Patient AR Team on any balances owed.
Though not required, the ideal candidate for this position has previous experience in the healthcare industry with knowledge of health insurance requirements, durable medical equipment, hospital or home care, or other related experience. Proper training will be provided for the right person for the position.
