Ob Nurse Job Opening in Charleston, South carolina - Charleston OBGYN is an 8-physician practice that is proud to be providing the women of the Lowcountry with outstanding obstetrical and gynecological care for over 50 years. Our primary office is in West Ashley, with ancillary offices in James Island and Mt. Pleasant.
Charleston OBGYN seeks an experienced OB Nurse. This is a full-time, day position with no holiday, on-call or weekend coverage required. The majority of the work will be conducted in our West Ashley office. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years experience in Obstetrics.
Key Responsibilities include:
Triaging OB phone calls and arranging work-in appointments
Providing OB education for pregnant patients, including nutrition, genetic screening, medications, gestational diabetes, and labor precautions.
Reviewing normal and abnormal labs. Discussing results with physicians and patients.
Performing Nonstress Tests.
The right candidate will work well in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working with people, be able to manage a busy OB schedule, and be able to function well both individually and as part of a team.
Compensation will be hourly, full-time and based on experience. If Full-time, Health, Dental, and Supplemental Benefits will be available after a 90-day probationary period with 401K participation available after a year of service.
