TeliStat is looking to add a hard-working Senior Software Engineer who is experienced in building and developing software applications and quickly sees how the applications work in a real-world environment. Applicants should be well-versed in object oriented principles and system design. Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain web and mobile based software solutions
Write functional documentation
Troubleshoot bugs and fixes
Collaborate with team members to find innovative solutions
Work within defined development and release schedule and escalate issues appropriately
Enhance existing applications, add features, and maintain software documentation
Identify errors and resolve issues with existing application and systems
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor in Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred
A minimum of three years of demonstrated success developing a variety of software applications
Proficient in SQL
Knowledge of cloud technologies and platforms
Experience with Open Source Technologies such as Git
Knowledge of iOS or Android mobile development
Experience and expertise developing in one or more of the following object-oriented languages: PHP, Python, Java, or
Thorough knowledge and understanding of object oriented programming using Java
Experience with security architecture and encryption
Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment
Ability to manage rapid prototyping
Understand all elements of the software development life cycle, including planning, development, requirements management, configuration management, quality assurance, and release management
