Position: Data Group Analyst
Location: Glastonbury, CT
Duration: 6 months
Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting
Develop ad-hoc reports
Create new canned reports for product reporting engine to be used by clients
Collaborate with Project and Business teams
Review requirements for completeness and quality
Evaluate and estimate specifications
Manage multiple projects and ensure project timelines are met
Develop creative and adaptive solutions to project issues
Raise issues and risk awareness
Provide Day to Day Customer Care Support
Duplicate and Investigate reporting and product issues
Provide solutions to identified problems
Manage and triage support ticket SLA?s, project conflicts and resolution
Partner with Business on support tickets to ensure quick and quality resolution
Technical and Professional Requirements:
2-4 years applied SQL skills: stored procedures, functions, SSIS, DTS, ETL ,database optimization and tuning
SQL Server Administrative Experience a plus
Bachelor?s degree preferred
Knowledge of JEE a plus
Self-starter with the ability to rapidly grasp and apply complex business and technical concepts
Solid working knowledge of the Software development lifecycle
Should be able to work either on a team or independently
Should be able to work across multiple projects
Should be able to manage time efficiently in order to meet deadlines
Should have attention to detail and strong organization skills
Should have strong communication skills
The desire to provide the highest quality service to our clients
