Manufacturing Cost Accountant Job Opening in Xenia, Ohio - This company is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accountant responsible for calculating and tracking operating costs related to labor,raw materials, overhead, inventory, etc; analyzing changes in product design, manufacturing methods, to determine the effect on costs, comparing factors affecting prices and productivity, and preparing summaries and variance reports.
Requirements include a degree in business or accounting and 2 - 3 years in a MRP environment. ((That means that the candidate must have a background in manufacturing cost accounting, consideration of candidates without a manufacturing base will not be allowed by client)) Position reports to an Accounting Manager and will have daily interactions with Production, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other accounting staff.
