Short Line and Parts Sales Representative Job Opening in Salina, Kansas - The Short Line and Parts Sales Representative will assist our customers with ordering short line equipment and parts to support their farm and commercial operations. The Sales Representative will communicate with current customers and call upon prospective new customers through multiple forms of direct and electronic communication. The Sales Representative must be extremely motivated with the ability to relate to all customer types. Heartland Ag is looking to expand the Parts and Sales team with 4 outside Short Line and Parts Sales Representation positions, two being placed in Nebraska and two being placed in Kansas to help expand the market.
Job requirements:
Familiarity with short line equipment and parts.
Ability to identify opportunities, resolve problems and fulfill promises.
Ability to develop positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
Willingness to respond to customer needs timely using strong communication skills.
Ability to use the computer.
Must exhibit good time management skills with the ability to manage their own schedule to meet customer and company needs.
Sales Representative must have strong presentation and organization skills.
Travel and overnight stays will be required.
Qualifications:
The Sales Representative must have a High school diploma or general education development.
Previous sales experience is preferred.
Must have a valid driver?s license.
Compensation:
Competitive base salary, plus additional commission based on sales performance.
This position is full time and eligible for Heartland Ag?s Benefit package.
