Entry-Level Bookkeeper-Office Manager Job Opening in Concord, New hampshire - Small Concord business office looking for a full-time detail-oriented recent graduate to join our growing team. The candidate will handle day-to-day bookkeeping and financial reporting requirements for our monthly clients. Confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, good customer relations, ability to communicate clearly, and accuracy are important qualifications for this position. The candidate will be responsible for communicating with clients about the tax preparation process, setting appointments, and assisting with tax preparation and filing of returns. Our company handles personal, state, and federal returns. The candidate will be responsible for developing intra-office communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, and inventory control. We?re looking for an energetic professional who doesn?t mind wearing multiple hats. The ideal candidate is a skilled multi-tasker, reliable, and is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. Must also be outgoing, have a great personality, be a team player and must be passionate about their career. Associates degree in Accounting and experience with QuickBooks is a must.
Responsibilities:
Will maintain organizational procedures and systems for office personnel, including filing, billing, account payable, payroll and scheduling
Ensure the confidentiality of each client by following all company procedures regarding information handling
Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
Prepare quarterly payroll tax returns, along with processing weekly client payroll, operating and business taxes
Advise clients in the tax preparation process and prepare and file tax documents
Take incoming calls from clients to set up appointments
Order supplies and equipment as needed
Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Impeccable mathematics skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Quickbooks 2015
Extensive experience with data entry, record keeping and computer operation
Experience with scheduling, budgeting and payroll
Associates degree in Accounting
This position will be available beginning in June 2017. We will train the right candidate in tax preparation services. We offer vacation time and participation in company retirement plan. . Compensation will depend on experience of candidate that is hired.
