Position summary :
The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations for a large Rhode Island specialty practice with multiple sites. Responsibilities include aspects of HR, billing, financials, IT, EMR, site management, credentialing, revenue cycle management, compliance, and practice management. Must be able to attend evening managerial meetings. Salaried, exempt position.
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of efficient front desk, billing and clinical operations
Knowledge of compliance, CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clinical providers
Ability to lead and develop staff positions
Ability to negotiate facilities management leases and vendor contracts
Knowledge of Benefits administration
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and written
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
Good computer skills both in standard Microsoft Office products and EMR (eClinicalWorks preferred)
Ability to work collaboratively.
Education: College degree required
Experience: 3-5 years in healthcare management required
