Operations Revenue Cycle Manager Job Opening in Novato, California - Position Description*
Responsible for the operational activities of a variety of departments.
Receives assignments in form of specific objectives.
Reviews and analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/ supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
Provides directions to employees according to policies and management guidance.
May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
Administers company policies that directly affect operations.
Interacts with subordinate supervisors, outside customers and functional peer groups at management levels. Interactions normally require the ability to gain cooperation from others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules etc.
Motivates, provides support and guidance to supervisors and directions to exempt employees and/or skilled nonexempt employees (i.e. AR Specialists, Clerical/Data Entry/Payment Representatives)
Complexity in business is middle range ? large.
Minimum Requirements
5+ years operational experience including 3+ years managerial experience
Critical Skills
Physician side medical billing experience highly preferred
Epic , Word, Excel, Power Point.
Additional Knowledge and Skills
Thorough knowledge of Operations management in a Medical Billing office.
Preferably Physician Billing.
Excellent organizational skills, excellent communication skills (verbal/written), and management skills.
Education
4-year degree or equivalent experience
