Clinical Analyst I - PERM
Salary Range: $58K -76K based on experience
Responsibilities:
Participate in all Perioperative and Procedural implementations and support efforts to improve workflow standards as well as end user adoption and proficiency within the EMR. Ensure consistent application of workflows in alignment with TUKHS policies, regulatory requirements, and leading practices
Assist in intake, prioritization, and delivery of technology requests to improve workflow standards, end user adoption, and end user proficiency.
Partner with data governance, analytics, and quality resources in development of data capture, data management, and analysis to support TUKHS Perioperative and Procedural Services strategic initiatives and aligning those with EMR design, use, and adoption.
Evaluate the impact of technology on Perioperative and Procedural and identify areas to promote use to create efficiencies for clinicians to improve quality of care and revenue compliance.
Partner with Perioperative and Procedural leadership, the HITS team, and Clinical Informatics to plan, coordinate, and facilitate patient-centric technology initiatives as they relate to Perioperative and Procedural Services.
Work with clinical departments to understand and manage user expectations and communication with regard to support service availability, responsiveness, and level of service.
This individual is responsible for the implementation and support of applications.
Works closely with end users to troubleshoot and correct problems relating to applications, and assists with conversions to and implementation of software products.
Uses healthcare clinical operations expertise to seek out, research and evaluate a variety of solutions to provide end users with high quality, efficient products.
Maintains and supports specified installed application software products.
Requirements:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or clinical related (ancillary) field; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical position (nursing or ancillary) in a health care environment of similar size and complexity; at least three years of experience preferred
Current professional license or clinical certificate required in professional area
One year of experience as clinical analyst working with information systems implementation cycle preferred
National certification like CPHIMS form HIMSS preferred
