Regional Sales Manager - Electrical Products Job Opening in Richmond, Virginia - Regional Sales Manager Needed
Responsible for developing the Northeast Territory for a Virginia-based Electrical Products Manufacturer.
The Company has been listed three times in Inc Magazine's list of the 5000 fastest growing companies in America, and wants to keep up the growth. Patriot's main production facility and HQ is located in Louisa, Virginia. This position will require 60% travel, with the remainder split between working out of your home office or working with staff in Louisa. A company vehicle will be provided.
The successful candidates day-to-day tasks include:
Working with the National & Inside Sales Directors to develop the Territory Sales Plan
Daily management of our established Sales Agencies
Strengthening relationships with our Electrical Distribution Partners
Developing relationships with target Contracting and Engineering Firms
Conducting Product and Company Presentations in the field
Using the Company project database to discover potential clients
Developing project quotes and closing deals!
Key Performance Objectives
Nurture & Grow customer relationships
Generate and Maintain a Robust Sales Pipeline
Follow through on project tracking and Quotes via Email and Phone
Provide immediate or same-day email, telephone or online chat response to all Customer requests
Maintain detailed follow up notes for prospects and appointments
Close Attention to Detail
Ability to Manage Multiple Customer Relationships
Ask for the Order
Requirements
60% Travel, 40% working with staff in Louisa or out of your home office
Proven success record of managing Sales Teams
Experience selling through Distribution channels
Comfortable communicating in person, over the Phone, or via Email
Ability to think creatively and innovatively
Comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite and an online CRM package (we use PipeDrive)
Be Conscientious, Have A Great Personality, and Have Fun with the Customers
