The Implementation Project Manager is a part of the Carena Program Management team. PMs work with every Carena department, but primarily partner with our Client Services and Software Development teams to ensure that projects are prioritized and deliverables are received. PMs need technical agility and ability to become well versed in new technical approaches as we leverage different technologies to implement our client software vision.
Roles and responsibilities.
The Project Manager is responsible for:
Collaborating with Client Services team and Software Development Engineering leads and managers to
capture and manage deliverables for new client launches and other client-related software requests
Capturing and prioritizing feature or update requests
Gathering requirements or additional information as needed to move projects into development sprints
Addressing concerns or challenges that come up during project work and working with appropriate stakeholders to find solutions
Managing communication between development, program management, and the client services teams while development work is in progress
Verifying that all work completed meets the project requirements and scope as defined

Qualifications.
Strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to quickly understand new businesses and provide model for prioritizing requests
Strong analytical, problem solving, and trouble-shooting skills
Experience with Scrum or other Agile software development methodologies
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies rapidly (self-starter)
Ability to influence others without authority and to move forward despite ambiguity
Excellent teamwork skills
Experience collaborating with disparate business stakeholders
Experience collaborating with executives and upper level management
Experience collaborating with software development engineers and technical operations
Experience with Web development including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX
Experience managing Web applications, Web sites over multiple releases
Experience managing Mobile applications over multiple releases
Experience with Web servers, Web browsers, and Web architecture
Experience with Object Oriented design and development
BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or related area
2 - 5+ years experience as a Project Manager on a Web application software development team
