Leader of Sales Department Job Opening in Oakland, California - Golden Gate Better Business Bureau is looking for a strong leader to build and direct our sales team and create a digital marketing advertising program.

Summary: This position is primarily responsible for directing and coordinating activities of one or more departments at BBB and effectively and profitably aid the Chief Executive Officer in formulating and administering organizational policies in support of established processes, goals, and objectives; provides leadership, strategic direction, and vision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
Direct and Lead 15-20 non-supervisory employees.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization?s policies and applicable laws.
Ensure consistency in HR matters.
Ensure department meets required standards.
With Executive Leadership Team, establish strategic marketing plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
Participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing short and long range goals and objectives.
Review costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Participate in financial planning and controls for areas of responsibility; recommend profit performance goals and ensure they are achieved.
Develop and execute comprehensive operational plans and programs, both short and long range, to support sales revenue objectives.
