Hotel Sales Manager Job Opening in Long Beach, California - Hotel sales experience is MUST. Any candidate who doesn't have a minimum five (5) years of hotel sales experience will not be considered.
SUMMARY
This position requires a minimum of five (5) years of Hotel Sales experience. Must be proficient in SalesPro and Delphi.
Plans and administers sales policies and programs to foster and promote hotel patronage by performing the following duties

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develops and maintains sales strategy and marketing plan
Provides sales training to staff of hotel as applicable
Analyzes revenue management strategy using such tools as Star Reports, demand analysis and applicable front office systems
Schedules sales appointments
Conducts a required amount of cold calls
Organizes, maintains, and tracks sales data
All other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE
Five years sales experience and three years of Director of Sales experience at 300+ property.
MATH ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software and internet

Education
High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor?s Degree in restaurant management preferred.
